There's an intimate apparel brand whose style is sometimes passionate, sometimes cool, sometimes vibrant, sometimes serene…

A harmonious blend of diverse qualities—that's it—

Interfilière Shanghai

THE BLENDER, "A Piece of Desire," a fashionable intimate apparel brand designed specifically for modern women, founded in 2018. Named after "mixing," it integrates color, architecture, art, and modern culture into its designs, combining advanced seamless knitting technology. Through the language of fashion, it presents lingerie as an integral part of everyday wear, giving it a more diverse value. It encourages modern women to express their individuality, embrace their desires with confidence, and stay true to themselves.

THE BLENDER, with its name "mixing," takes "fearless of desire" as its brand motto, striving to find a design balance that integrates comfort, function, and desire. It helps consumers confront their desires directly, showcasing their multifaceted selves; especially when facing desires, to be open, unique, and assertive. I still remember when I first saw The Blender's Valentine's Day "Heartbeat" collection in 2023, I blurted out without thinking, "I always thought TB had a gender-neutral aesthetic, but I never imagined it could express romance and sensuality in this way." Bridget countered with, "So unisex style should be that stereotypical image?" I instantly understood. THE BLENDER, whose name signifies "mixing," embodies unisex as its attitude, and the diverse culture that modern women aspire to shouldn't be expressed in only one way.

Official Clarification

TB doesn't actually position itself as unisex; it's more about diverse expressions or exploring the possibilities for young, modern women.

We're delighted to have THE BLENDER as a guest on our space station, giving us the opportunity to unveil a corner of the brand's mystery.

Q1: Integrating "color, architecture, art, and modern culture" into lingerie design is a common theme in the fashion industry, often incorporating architectural design inspiration. What unique perspectives does Bridget, a graduate of Tongji University's architecture department, have when creating intimate apparel?

A: One of our ongoing challenges is translating architectural clarity and structure into the softness of intimate apparel.

Q2: As a color expert unanimously recognized by the highly color-sensitive French team, how does TB boldly explore the use of color in intimate apparel?

A: We believe lingerie colors should move beyond traditional expectations and become a form of personal expression. and look at lingerie and intimate apparel in this era from a new perspective, focusing more on the expression of personality and the delivery of emotional value.

Q3: The GREEN series is TB's sustainable fashion line launched in SS22. The new collection for this year was just released in July. Industry insiders know that the path to sustainability is long and requires a lot of effort from the brand. What philosophy supports the team's persistence?

A: Because our main theme is the image of a rebellious girl—bolder and more avant-garde. GREEEN mainly aims to return to simplicity, to return to very simple everyday life—simple yet high-quality. This also reflects different aspects of a person. I have rebellious phases, and I also have phases where I calm down and reflect on my energy. Regardless of good or bad, it's all about you constantly exploring yourself.

Q4: Upon first encountering THE BLENDER, the editor was immediately captivated by its "Movie Inspiration" series, from "Pulp Fiction" and "The Fifth Element" to "The Shape of Water"... The designs, seamlessly integrated with the film stories, were truly mesmerizing. Personally, I wonder if there's a chance for the Movie Inspiration series to continue?

A: Yes, there is.

Q5: Since 2023-2024, the brand has opened several themed offline spaces where THE BLENDER Girls have met and interacted. Are there any plans to bring back these offline spaces in the future?

A: We currently have a concept store on the first floor of the TX Youth Power Center in Huaihai. In mid-August this year, we also opened a shop-in-shop in the West Bund Dream Center, and we expect another store to open during the National Day holiday.
