Founded in 2018, THE BLENDER carries the tagline “A Piece of Desire” and is designed for modern women. With “blending” at its core, the brand integrates color, architecture, art, and contemporary culture into its designs. Using seamless knitting technology, it elevates lingerie beyond function into fashion, giving everyday life greater versatility. The brand encourages women to embrace desire without fear and to reveal their authentic selves.

By naming itself THE BLENDER, the brand highlights “fearless in desire” as its philosophy—seeking balance between comfort, function, and individuality. It invites women to face desire openly and confidently, expressing diversity with style and attitude.

When TB launched its Valentine’s “Heartbeat” collection in 2023, many mistook the brand for being purely androgynous. Bridget, the founder and an alumna of Tongji University’s architecture program, explained: “Androgyny is just one attitude. Diversity should never be restricted to one stereotype.” Officially, TB clarifies that it is not defined as androgynous but as a brand expressing multiple possibilities for the new generation of women.

Design Philosophy

Bridget’s architectural background shapes her approach: “How to create clean, structured aesthetics on lingerie’s soft materials is always our focus.” Meanwhile, as a color innovator praised by French teams, TB challenges traditional lingerie palettes. “It’s about expressing individuality and conveying emotion,” Bridget adds.

Sustainability and Innovation

TB launched its GREEN series in SS22, focusing on sustainability. “Our main line represents a rebellious, avant-garde girl. With GREEN, we return to simplicity—refined, everyday, yet authentic. Just like people, we all have rebellious and calm phases, both true to self.” This reflects the brand’s belief in personal exploration and responsible fashion.

Inspirations and Community

Film-inspired designs like Pulp Fiction, The Fifth Element, and The Shape of Water once captivated fans. Bridget hints there may be more cinematic pieces to come. Beyond products, TB fosters community through offline spaces. A concept store currently operates at TX Huaihai Youth Power Center, alongside a new shop-in-shop at West Bund Dream Center, with more locations planned.

Looking Ahead

Now in its seventh year, THE BLENDER looks toward its tenth anniversary by exploring global growth. “As a young Chinese brand, we hope to gain recognition from more international consumers.”

Winner of the Young Label Awards in 2019, THE BLENDER has achieved rapid growth while redefining intimate fashion. Its journey shows that lingerie is no longer confined to tradition—it is a cultural language of diversity, self-expression, and fearless desire.
