France

——PigalleLe Coq Sportif

Streetwear brand Pigalle has teamed up with French sports veteran Le Coq Sportif to create a collection of sportswear, with Pigalle founder Stéphane Ashpool leading the design and Le Coq Sportif producing the pieces. The overall theme is 'retro sport', with a more abstract design, using digital tie-dye for a soft gradient, fusing the three iconic French colors with Pigalle's classic style to highlight street culture and athleticism.

In the design of sportswear for fit, Stephane Ashpool has taken into account the comfort needs of athletes during the design process to ensure that each piece of sportswear perfectly fits the curves of the athlete's body and reduces the feeling of constriction when exercising.

The United Kingdom

——Adidas

Designed and produced by long-time partner adidas, the Team GB uniforms are inspired by the style worn by athletes in 1924, celebrating 100 years of British sport. Continuing the 'minimalist sports style', the uniform is also based on the same red, white and blue color scheme, which is visually clean and uncluttered, with the flag and 'Great Britain' embellished on the top.

This time, adidas has brought another groundbreaking concept to its product design: for the first time, it has adopted the principle of universal design to create 'high-performance sports equipment' that can be used by anyone who loves sport, a principle that the brand says is followed by 86% of the Olympic Games' apparel on and off the field.

In order to ensure the comfort and performance of the athletes during the competition, Belgium's Olympic fitted sportswear uses high-performance fabrics. These fabrics have good breathability, perspiration and elasticity, and can meet the needs of athletes in high-intensity sports.
