Kardashian's body fashion brand Skims sponsors the 2024 Paris Olympics

2024-07-19

Skims is a brand founded by Kim Kardashian in 2019. The brand announced that it is a sponsor of the U.S. delegation to this year's Paris Olympics and Paralympics, providing all athletes with loungewear, underwear and sportswear. To coincide with the campaign, Skims has launched a specialized capsule collection and invited national team athletes to shoot posters. This is the third time Kardashian has sponsored the U.S. delegation to the 2020 Winter Olympics in Tokyo, the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, and the upcoming Olympics in Paris. Skims also became an underwear sponsor for the NBA and WNBA this year.

Skims is arguably one of the most successful brands built by the Kardashian family. With annual revenues of $1 billion through 2023 and a valuation that continues to double, topping $4 billion last July, Skims is currently considering an IPO. Meanwhile, Skims has undoubtedly become a mainstream brand, well ahead of Victoria's Secret ($1 billion market capitalization) and Fenty ($2.8 billion), and has also successfully challenged lululemon's market share in athleisure apparel, making it one of the world's most influential apparel brands.
